Sales Representative (Permanent)

Our client in Newcastle-under-Lyme is looking for a Sales Representative to join them on a permanent basis, initially working from home during the pandemic. Candidates must be committed and eager to learn, with excellent communication and computer skills.


Reporting to the UK Sales Manager/Key Account Manager SysApp your duties will include:

  • Seek and develop new business opportunities
  • Maximise sales/profit with existing customers
  • Review drawings, Agree technical specifications and Statement of Work with customers
  • Ensure that the customers’ requirements are understood and considered in the processing of quotations
  • Approve quotes prior to release, ensuring that it meets company cost model requirements
  • Ensure a consistent and professional level of customer service through a proactive, problem solving approach
  • Manage the interface between the customer, the manufacturing plant and SysApp global network
  • Maintain records of technical/commercial activities in line with company and quality standards
  • Work within a multi-function team to generate and introduce cost savings
  • Manage projects from nomination into serial production



  • Educated to minimum A Level/HNC level (ideally in Business)
  • Opportunity to study for a Higher Degree in Business or continue to study for your Degree if already part way through
  • Excellent communication skills (Essential)
  • Computer literate (Essential)
  • The ability to travel both UK and overseas (Essential)
  • Self-motivated and a team player (Essential)
  • Sales experience (Desirable)
  • Automotive experience (Desirable)
  • Willing to learn and develop within the company (Essential)

Hours of Work (37.5 per week):

  • 7:50am-16:30pm Mon to Thurs / 7:50am-13:00pm Fri – some flexibility considered
